Why did the groom sitting on a horse get high security of 400 policemen?

Ajmer: Upper caste people allegedly objected to the Ghodchadhi procession in the wedding of a Dalit youth in Lavera village of Srinagar block of Ajmer district of Rajasthan. After which the groom took out the procession under the protection of 400 policemen. Mohan Bakkoliya's son Lokesh and Aruna got married on January 21. Upper caste people had allegedly objected to the groom taking out the Ghodchadhi procession.
After this, the family lodged a complaint with the police. Police officials have confirmed that security arrangements were made on the request of the bride's father. A senior official said that nothing happened and policemen were deployed as a security precaution. The bride's father Narayan Khorwali said that he had requested the police for security due to the fear of attack by upper caste people.
