After this, the man made a fake video of himself and complained to the police that some miscreants tied his wife to a tree and killed her.

Killed his wife cleverly

According to the information, this entire case is being reported from Hariamunda village under Nandpur police station in Koraput district of Odisha. A complaint was lodged here by a person named Mahendra Khara. It was told in the complaint that when he and his wife Savitri Khara were returning after getting their Aadhar card updated, the miscreants attacked them. After this, the miscreants allegedly tied Mahendra to a tree and brutally murdered his wife Savitri in front of him. After this, the accused looted her jewellery and fled. Mahendra Khara told the police that this incident took place in the Nandpur police station area on Monday evening. Mahendra made up this story to save himself so that no one would suspect him.

Admitted to hospital

As soon as the information about this incident was received, the police reached the spot and started an investigation admitted Mahendra to the hospital and sent the dead woman's body for postmortem. The police have registered a case started an investigation and have started collecting evidence with the forensic team. The police have started searching for the accused keeping in mind robbery, mutual enmity and other aspects in this case. The police are finding out the reasons behind the incident. In this investigation, when the police suspected the husband, he was taken into custody and questioned, and then he confessed that he had killed his wife. Mahendra has been arrested by Nandpur police along with his two accomplices and further investigation is being done.

There was a rift for a long time

Giving information in this case, the sub-divisional police officer of Nandpur police station said that for a long time, there was a dispute between Mahendra and his wife Savitri over something. On some pretext, Mahendra took Savitri out and called his companions there. As soon as they reached Savitri's deserted place, the accused Mahendra along with his companions first brutally murdered his wife and then made a fake video to save himself. When the police interrogated him strictly, he confessed his crime. The police have arrested Mahendra and his two companions. The police have imposed section 103 of BNS on the arrested accused and are investigating further.
