Love stories like Romeo-Juliet, Heer-Ranjha, and Soni-Mahiwal have come to the fore in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The family members tried their best to separate the lovers. But they could not separate them. The boy was even sent to jail. But when he came out on bail, something happened which spread mourning in two houses. Actually, both of them had committed suicide by consuming poison.

The incident is from Hussainpur village of Nanauta. The sensation spread when the bodies of a young man and a young woman were found in a sugarcane field in the jungle here in suspicious condition. A packet of sulfate was also found lying near both bodies. On Tuesday evening at around three o'clock, Kala son of Simru, sharecropper of Ankit son of Shyam, a resident of Hussainpur village, was irrigating the sugarcane field, when he saw the bodies of a young man and a young woman lying in suspicious condition inside the field.

The youth was identified as Vinay son of Ratna Singh, aged about 26 years, resident of Hussainpur, and Neelam daughter of Lokesh, aged about 20 years. The police were immediately informed about the incident. The forensic team that arrived with the police recovered empty packets of poisonous substances along with mobile phones near the spot. After this, the police filled the Panchnama of both the bodies and sent them for post-mortem.

The girl had been kidnapped earlier also.

SHO Sachin Punia said that two bodies had been found in a field in the jungle of Hussainpur village. Prima facie, it has come to light that both of them committed suicide by consuming poisonous substances. At the same time, the police have found out that there was a love affair going on between the two. The youth had eloped with the girl once before. Both are said to be from the same family. Vinay was accused of eloping with the girl two years ago. On the complaint of the girl's family, a case was registered against him in Rampur Maniharan police station. Due to this, he was imprisoned. He was released on bail from there a few days ago. After this, both were again reported missing.
