West Bengal Police: Recruitment will be released on 1420 Lady Constable posts, apply from April 23!

West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) has released a notification announcing 1,420 Lady Constable vacancies, registration for which will begin on April 23.

Interested and eligible candidates can submit their forms by May 22 at wbpolice.gov.in and prb.wb.gov.in.

To apply for these posts, the age of the candidate should not be at least 18 years and not more than 30 years as on January 1, 2023. Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable for reserved category candidates.

WBPRB said that the date of birth recorded in the admit card/certificate of Madhyamik or its equivalent will only be accepted as valid proof for age verification.

Applicants must have passed the Secondary Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent and must be able to speak, read and write the Bengali language. However, this will not apply to persons who are permanent residents of the hill sub-divisions of the Darjeeling and Kalimpong districts.

Candidates will be selected through Preliminary Written Examination or Screening Test followed by Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Final Written Examination, and Interview.
