Weather Update: There will be rain in many districts of Rajasthan on 16 and 17 September, orange alert issued

Monsoon is active in Rajasthan and due to that there is a period of rain. On Friday afternoon too, there was heavy rain in different parts of the capital Jaipur. Along with this, rain was also seen at many places in Tonk and Alwar districts. Due to this rain, people have got relief from heat and humidity. 

According to the Meteorological Department, orange alert has been issued for Banswara, Dungarpur, Jhalawar, Pratapgarh and Sirohi districts on 16 and 17 September. Let us tell you that the state, which has been suffering from drought and heat since August and September, is once again experiencing rainy season. However, this rain is occurring only in some districts of the state. 

In the last 24 hours, good rainfall occurred at many places in Banswara, Baran, Barmer, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Jhalawar, Jodhpur, Pratapgarh, Tonk, Udaipur, Ajmer, Sikar, Jaipur, Churu and Sawai Madhopur districts. Jaipur, Sikar and their surroundings also received rain with strong wind at night.
