Weather Update: There will be heavy rain in these districts of Rajasthan today, alert issued

In some districts of Rajasthan, the ongoing rains for three consecutive days continued on Monday also. Even in the capital Jaipur, drizzle continued till the evening and at some places heavy rain was also seen. However, this morning the weather cleared and the sun shone. Due to rain since last three days, Chambal river is flowing above the danger mark. 

According to the Meteorological Department, Dungarpur district of Rajasthan has recorded the highest rainfall of 205 mm in Nithuwa in the last 24 hours. According to the Meteorological Department, Jaipur, the low pressure area over south-eastern Rajasthan has weakened and turned into a circulation system, hence the rainy season will continue.

According to the Meteorological Department, due to its effect, today there is a possibility of heavy rain at isolated places in Udaipur, Sirohi, Jalore and Pali districts, while there is a possibility of heavy rain at isolated places in Dungarpur, Rajsamand, Barmer and Jodhpur districts.
