Weather Update: The Meteorological Department has once again issued a flood alert in the states of the country including UP.

Rain warning: IMD said that there may be light to moderate rain with thunderstorms in Northeast India during April 17-21. Apart from this, there is also a possibility of heavy rain at some places.

India Weather Forecast: India Meteorological Department (IMD) said a new spell of rain with lightning and gusty winds is likely to begin over northwest India during April 18-21.

The Meteorological Department said that all this is due to the effect of western disturbance. IMD said that light rain may occur at some places in Punjab, Haryana, Western Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan.

The Meteorological Department said that there may be severe heat in Eastern India for the next 5 days. Apart from this, there is a possibility of a heat wave in southern peninsular India for the next three days.

The Meteorological Department said that the heat wave may continue for the next five days in Bihar, Odisha, and West Bengal. There is a possibility of a heat wave in Jharkhand from April 19.

IMD said that the heat wave may continue for the next three days in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Rayalaseema. Apart from this, there will be severe heat in Tamil Nadu also.

IMD said that there is a possibility of severe heat waves in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Coastal Karnataka, and Coastal Andhra Pradesh for the next three days.

The Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of heat waves at isolated places in Central Maharashtra and Marathwada on April 17 and 18, 2024.
