Vistara Airline: Threat of bombing the plane going from Delhi to Srinagar!

Vistara Airline: A Vistara Airlines flight going from Delhi to Srinagar received a bomb threat. After receiving the threat, the plane was safely landed at Srinagar airport. There were a total of 178 passengers on board the plane. Even after a checking operation of about 2 hours, no explosives were found in the plane.

Srinagar:  A bomb threat was received on Friday (31 May) on a Vistara flight going from Delhi to Srinagar, which had 177 passengers and a child on board. The airline Vistara Airline and security forces took immediate action on this. Flight number-UK-611 was landed safely at Srinagar airport at around 12:10 pm. 

It is being told that Vistara flight UK611 was coming from New Delhi and after the threatening call, the airport authorities at Srinagar International Airport took immediate action. 

An airport official said, all the passengers have been safely deboarded at the isolation bay. At present, a thorough security check of the aircraft has been carried out by the concerned authorities to ensure the safety of all concerned. During this, protocol was followed, bomb squads were deployed to inspect the aircraft and after a thorough search, no explosives were found in the aircraft. 

Where did the threatening call come from?

Officials said flight operations at the airport had to be halted for about an hour, which were later resumed. Officials said an investigation was underway to find out where the threatening call came from. Meanwhile, an airline spokesperson confirmed
