Retired IAS Assault Video Viral: A video of a retired IAS being beaten up in a low-floor bus has surfaced, in which the conductor can be seen slapping and kicking the elderly retired officer. The elderly man was also seen slapping the conductor. The passengers somehow intervened and saved the elderly man from the conductor. The incident took place on Friday morning and is from Jaipur, Rajasthan, but the video of the assault has surfaced today. The victim filed a case against the conductor at Kanota police station in Jaipur. After watching the video, the company has also suspended the accused conductor with immediate effect.  There was a dispute over the additional fare of Rs 10

According to a report, the victim retired IAS officer RN Meena and the suspended conductor have been identified as Ghanshyam Sharma working in Jaipur City Transport Services Limited. Kanota SHO Uday Yadav confirmed the incident and said that Gujarat cadre retired IAS officer RN Meena was travelling in a bus from Jaipur to Naila, but the bus did not stop at the stoppage for which Meena had bought the ticket. He alleged that he had to get off at the Kanota bus stop, but the bus did not stop there and reached Naila. When Meena started getting off at Naila in protest, the conductor asked him for an extra fare of Rs 10, which Meena refused to pay.


A co-passenger made a video of the fight

According to the report, the conductor clashed with retired officer Meena over Rs 10. There was an argument between the two and the argument soon turned into a scuffle. The conductor slapped and kicked Meena. He also abused him badly. A person made a video of this dispute. Somehow the passengers separated the two and Meena reached Kanota police station to file a case. The person who made the video also gave the video of the fight to the police, based on which the police registered an FIR. Company officials also saw the video and suspended the conductor. The police also recorded Meena's statement and sent teams to take the conductor into custody and interrogate the people responsible for the attack.
