Spitting video viral
According to the information, Anupshahr police of Bulandshahr district have detained a vegetable vendor who spit on vegetables. When the video of the accused vegetable vendor spitting surfaced, the police immediately arrested him. In the viral video, it can be seen that a vegetable vendor sitting at a vegetable shop is avoiding everyone's gaze and spitting on the vegetables. During the investigation of the case, the accused vegetable vendor in this case was identified as Shamim, a resident of Naya Basti under the Anupshahr police station area. He runs a small shop in the vegetable market.
Police took action
Giving information about the case, Anupshahr Police Circle Officer (CO) Girja Shankar Tripathi said that a video came to the notice of Anupshahr police on December 14, in which a shopkeeper who has a vegetable wholesale shop in the market contaminating the vegetables by spitting repeatedly. The CO said that the police had taken cognizance of the said video and registered a case against the accused Shamim under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. The accused Shamim involved in the incident has been arrested by the police. He said that after completing the further legal process, the accused has been sent to jail.
