It has been proved that vaccination is the most effective way to prevent COVID. In such a situation, it is very important to have a vaccination for every age group. Young children are being vaccinated in many countries of the world.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said this while addressing the review meeting of COVID Vaccination and Kovid through VC from CM residence on Friday. He has given information about the meeting by tweeting. He tweeted that in just 4 days, more than 30 percent of adolescents and adolescent girls in the age group of 15 to 18 years have been vaccinated. He directed that those who have been deprived of vaccination till now due to lack of awareness, vaccinate them and achieve the target of 100% vaccination.

Rajasthan is a model state in the country in terms of vaccination. So far, more than 92 percent of people above 18 years of age have been given the first dose of the vaccine, and about 78 percent of people have been given the second dose.

Vaccination of adolescents and adolescent girls is also being done with full readiness. Experts believe that after a certain time the effect of the vaccine starts decreasing and patients with diabetes, hypertension, BP, heart-related co-morbidities are found in all age groups. In such a situation, the central government should allow booster doses for every category.
