Utility News: These people don't need to link PAN card with their Aadhaar

Now it has been made necessary to link PAN card with Aadhaar card. For this, the deadline set by the Central Government is March 31, 2023. For those who have not linked their PAN card with their Aadhaar till this date, their PAN cards will be of no use. After this, these people will not be able to use the PAN card.

According to a notification issued by the Union Ministry of Finance in May 2017, residents of Assam, Meghalaya and the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir are exempted.

At the same time, under the Income Tax Act 1961, a non-resident, people of 80 years or more till the last year and those who are not Indian citizens have been given exemption to link PAN card with Aadhaar.
