Utility News: PNB took this big step to protect customers from check-related fraud

Punjab National Bank has taken a major step to protect its customers from check-related fraud. Punjab National Bank has now made a positive pay system mandatory for the payment of checks of Rs 5 lakh and above.

According to reports, this big step taken by PNB will now be implemented from April 5, 2023. Earlier this system was applicable for PNB customers for checks worth Rs 10 lakh or more. Under this, customers were required to submit check details.

With this step of Punjab National Bank, customers will not have to face check fraud. This is a good move for the customers.
