Utility News : Know what is Ladli Bahna Yojana

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan launched the Ladli Bahna Yojana on his birthday on March 5. Under this scheme, the government will give one thousand rupees every month to eligible women.

This scheme was started in Jamboree Maidan in Bhopal. Shivraj himself sat together and filled out the form of Ladli Bahna Yojana. About 80 lakh women in Madhya Pradesh will get the benefit of the scheme.

The government has kept Rs 8,000 crore for this. Women who are not income taxpayers will be able to take advantage of the Ladli Bahna Yojana. Women living below the poverty line will be eligible for this scheme.

The amount will be directly transferred to the women's account. Beneficiary women will get Rs 12,000 annually under the Ladli Bahna Yojana.
