The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has published a notification for conducting the Combined Defense Services (CDS) Exam II, 2023. As per the notification, 349 seats are vacant and interested candidates can apply for them. Candidates can apply online mode before 6 June 2023.

Age limit
For IMA and Indian Naval Academy: Should be born between 2/7/2000 and 1/7/2005.
For Air Force Academy: Must be born between 2/7/2000 and 1/7/2004.

Educational Qualification
(i) I.M.A. and Officers Training Academy, Chennai - Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
(ii) For Indian Naval Academy – Degree in Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
(iii) For Air Force Academy - Degree of a recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Graduation in Engineering.
Candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions for admission to the examination. His admission to all stages of the examination shall be purely provisional subject to fulfillment of prescribed eligibility conditions.
Physical Standards
Candidates should be physically fit as per the physical standards for admission to Joint Defense Services Examination (II), 2023 as per the guidelines given in Annexure-IV.
