UP: Who is Himanshu Singh, whose dead body was found in the MLA residence in Lucknow?
The body of an unknown youth found in the VVIP area of OCR MLA residence in the capital Lucknow has been identified. It is being told that the body was of Himanshu Singh, a youth living in the Kaiserbagh area. The body has been identified, but there are still many questions, for which the Lucknow Police is engaged in investigating the case.
Lucknow Police Commissionerate DCP Raveena Tyagi said that the dead body of a young man was found in an unknown condition last night in the MLA residence OCR building complex located in the Hussainganj area. The dead body was recovered from the stairs near two towers of the MLA residence.
No injury marks were found on the dead body.
The police also reached the hospital with the dead body of the youth. The doctors also declared him dead. In the preliminary investigation, no serious injury was found on the dead body of the youth. The deceased youth was identified as Himanshu Singh (25) son of Rajaram, resident of Lal Kuan Kaiserbagh.
Police are investigating the CCTV footage.
DCP Raveena Tyagi, who is investigating this case, said that the CCTV cameras installed in the MLA residence premises and the CCTV cameras installed nearby are being investigated. Not only this, people in the vicinity are also being questioned. According to information received from police sources, three people are being interrogated in custody in the case of Himanshu Singh's dead body found in OCR MLA residence.
The deceased youth Himanshu was beaten up.
Lucknow Police can reveal the case after the postmortem report comes. According to the information coming out in the police investigation, the deceased was mentally ill. However, sources also claim that there could be an angle of domestic violence in this case. Obviously, until these questions are answered, the unidentified dead body will remain a mystery.
