UP Man Dies by Suicide in Mangaluru, Alleges Exploitation by CISF Officer

A 40-year-old man from Uttar Pradesh, Abhishek Singh, was found dead in a lodge near Rao & Rao Circle in Mangaluru, reportedly by suicide. Before taking the drastic step, he recorded a 20-minute video accusing a woman CISF officer of deceiving and exploiting him. The video was later uploaded on Instagram.

Allegations Against CISF Officer

Singh, who worked for a private company in Chennai, had traveled to Mangaluru with colleagues to attend an exhibition. In his video, he accused CISF Assistant Commandant Monika Sihag of misleading him by allegedly hiding her marital status while engaging in a relationship with him.

He further claimed that she exploited him emotionally, physically, and financially, stating that she took gold worth ₹8 lakh from him. Singh also alleged that she had been involved in similar relationships with multiple individuals.

Investigation Underway

Following his death, local authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident. A case has been registered at Pandeshwar police station, and officials are examining the allegations made in Singh’s video.
