Prime Minister Narendra Modi today flagged off Rajasthan's first Vande Bharat train through VC. On this occasion, PM Modi has accused the previous governments of using Railways for political gains. This statement of Narendra Modi has irritated Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.

He has hit back at PM Modi in this regard. He has given his response through social media. In an article, Ashok Gehlot said that it is unfortunate that the decisions of the previous government regarding railways by PM Modi are motivated by corruption and political selfishness.

Ashok Gehlot said in this regard that you have tried to reduce the importance of railways by abolishing the separate railway budget during your tenure. Today, the modern train can run, because Dr. Manmohan Singh, as the Finance Minister, liberalized the economy in 1991 and allowed new technology to develop in India.
