The police of Gaya district of Bihar, notorious for illegal weapons, has achieved a major success. On receiving information about a deal of weapons, the police reached Chatar Ghat graveyard and raided a house where country-made pistols and guns were being made and sold. The police arrested 3 people involved in this work from the spot and recovered many finished and some unfinished weapons and parts. The police seized all the weapons from the spot and presented the accused in the court, from where all of them have been sent to jail in judicial custody.

SSP Anwar Javed Ansari held a press conference on this achievement of the Chakand police station of the district. He said that information was received from an informer that a deal of illegal weapons was going to take place near the graveyard. On this information, the SSP formed a special team under the leadership of the Additional Superintendent of Police and instructed to raid the place. When this team reached near the Chatar Ghat graveyard, they saw that some people were trying to run away. After this, the police surrounded the area and caught three people.

Gun factory exposed

They have been identified as Mohd. Arman, Mohd. Golden and Vipin Vishwakarma. Police have recovered a country-made pistol and two motorcycles from the accused. After this, the police interrogated the accused intensively. During this, it was revealed that the three accused together have opened a small gun factory in Abgila. In this factory, they assemble country-made pistols and guns from the steering and other items of the car and then sell them. After this revelation, the police team reached the factory of the accused.

These weapons were recovered

From where the police recovered one country made pistol, one semi-manufactured country made pistol, one grinder machine, one hand vice machine, seven files, sixteen springs of different sizes, two semi-manufactured pistol triggers, one ring, two saws, thirteen grinder blades, six iron sheets, three barrel gauges and one spoke wrench. In the same sequence, on the information of accused Arman, the police recovered one single barrel country made gun, 66 pieces of 12 bore cartridges and 190 pieces of 315 bore bullets from Chatar Ghat.
