In Madhya Pradesh's capital Bhopal, cunning thieves have terrorized people with their thefts. Cunning thieves would enter homes, steal jewelry and cash, and then run away. They would bury the stolen items under the floor of their flats. Thieves committed the theft in a jeweler's empty house in Harshvardhan Nagar. They stole 30 tolas of gold and 250 grams of silver kept in the house.
The police have arrested the accused and exposed the gang. A police officer said that a police team was formed to solve the theft case that took place in the Harshvardhan area on May 17. The police were investigating the clues of the thieves. Footage of about 250 CCTV cameras in the area was scanned.
Bhopal police got a clue of the theft incident in a CCTV footage. Akram alias Shakeel, resident of Naya Basera Multi, was seen in it. Police took him into custody and questioned him. At first, he denied committing the crime. When the police showed strictness, he revealed everything. He used to commit theft by forming a gang.
Akram confessed to the thefts and told about his accomplices. He talked about Shoaib, Zahid, Aamir, and Shahrukh. Police asked Akram about the stolen goods. The clever thief used to hide the goods in his flat. He removed the tiles on the floor of his flat and buried all the goods in them. To avoid suspicion, he placed a plate on the broken floor and kept a washing machine on it. Police recovered goods worth about 50 lakh rupees including gold and silver jewellery, a car, a scooty, bike from the spot.
