There will be no fireworks on Diwali in Rajasthan, Gehlot government imposed this ban
People of Rajasthan will not be able to make fireworks on Diwali this time too. The Ashok Gehlot government of the state has banned the sale and operation of all types of firecrackers from October 1, 2021, to January 31, 2022, in view of the possibility of a third wave of COVID-19.
Principal Secretary (Home) Abhay Kumar has issued necessary departmental instructions in this regard.
Giving information in this regard, Principal Secretary (Home) Abhay Kumar said that experts have expressed the possibility of a third wave of Kovid-19 coming in Rajasthan.
Last year, fireworks were banned keeping in mind the respiratory problems caused by air pollution caused by fireworks to corona-infected patients.
He said that apart from weakening the immunity of a person due to fireworks, its smoke adversely affects the elderly, sick people, patients with COPD, asthma, and COVID-19.
