On the orders of the SSP, Civil Lines police station has registered a report against the husband and in-laws who are residents of Uttarakhand.

The victim says that she was married to a young man living in the Pantnagar police station area of ​​Udham Singh Nagar district of Uttarakhand about one and a half years ago. The victim alleges that her husband wrote abusive words about her private parts at night and made a video. When the victim protested against this, the accused beat her up. After this, the victim dialled 112 and informed the police about this, and then all the accused locked the house and fled. The victim alleges that the in-laws and husband are adamant on their demand of Rs 40 lakh and the husband says that you will have to live as my second wife. SSP Satpal Antil ordered the registration of an FIR on the complaint of the victim. Civil Lines Police Station in-charge Inspector Manisha Saxena said that on the complaint of the victim, an FIR has been registered against four named accused including the husband and an investigation is being done. Action will be taken based on whatever facts come out in the investigation.
