After this, the accused hit his wife badly with a brick. On hearing his wife's screams, the people around reached the spot and intervened and took the accused's wife to the hospital, where the doctors declared her dead. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took the woman's body in their custody and got it post-mortem done.

However, no complaint has been lodged with the police by the woman's family so far. According to the police, the case is from Bangarh village of Badaun. A young man named Shamim, who lives here, had a quarrel with his wife Nazima on Monday night. The quarrel escalated so much that Shamim first threw Nazima down from the roof and then when he came down, he found out that she had survived. After this, Shamim picked up a brick lying nearby and hit his wife's face and head indiscriminately.

The accused had done second marriage

On hearing the noise, the neighbours reached the spot and caught the accused and separated him. After this, the neighbours took the accused's wife to the medical college, where the doctors declared her dead. Nazima's brother Raj Mohammad, who lives in Pusgawan, said that his sister was married to Shamim about one and a half years ago. Shamim had already been married once, but his first wife had died four years ago. Now Shamim lived in Delhi with his two children Bilal and Mahnoor, born from his first wife, and worked as a tailor. Meanwhile, his sister lived alone in the village.

There was a fight over the insistence to stay together

According to Raj Mohammad, Shamim came home from Delhi on Monday morning. During this time, Nazima insisted on going to Delhi with him. There was an argument and fight between the two over this matter. After this, her sister lodged a complaint with the police. However, the police explained the matter to both and sent them back home. Both were sleeping on the roof at night. During this time, there was an argument again and during this, the accused Shamim beat up Nazima and pushed her off the roof. After this, the accused himself came running down and saw that his wife was breathing. In such a situation, the accused hit her badly with a brick.
