But when the matter escalated, Rahimabad SO Anubhav Singh arrested the accused for attempted murder and sent him to jail. According to a woman named Soni, she separated from her first husband Vinay Kumar Dwivedi last year. After this, she went to her lover Mahendra. Both of them got married. Now she lives with him.

But Vinay did not like this. Soni alleges that after this Vinay started harassing me. He was following me for a year. He used to stop me on the way and harass me. No action was taken even after complaining several times at the police station. Finally, the accused planned to kill me and the people I knew. Still, the police are trying to save him. On Monday, I, Mahendra and some of our family members were going somewhere for some work. Then Vinay drove a pickup truck over our car. Due to this 7 of us got injured.

Soni said- I had lodged a case against Vinay 9 times. If the police had taken action on time, he would not have dared to drive his car over me. The woman says that the accused was constantly trying to defame her. He kept saying repeatedly that he would ruin her. Soni further said- If any incident happens to me, Vinay Kumar Dwivedi will be responsible for it. At present, the police have arrested Vinay. His interrogation is going on. The injured are being treated in the hospital.
