Due to which the crowd on the platform increased. However, the railways are denying the cancellation of the train. The railways said that four special trains were run.

LG expressed grief

Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena said that the incident of death and injury of people due to chaos and stampede at New Delhi Railway Station on Saturday night is unfortunate and sad. In a post on social media platform X, the LG said that he has directed the Chief Secretary and Delhi Police Commissioner to resolve the situation. The Lieutenant Governor said, "I express my deepest condolences to the families of the victims of this incident. He said that he is constantly monitoring the situation."
