The state government is working to benefit every section of the society and provide relief from inflation: Priyanka Gandhi

Rajasthan is the land of bravery and unconventionality. Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi dedicated his entire life to public service. His principles inspired the politics of the country. National General Secretary of Congress Priyanka Gandhi said this while addressing the inauguration ceremony of Indira Rasoi Yojana (Rural) in Niwai of Tonk district on Sunday. 

During this, he said that the state government is also working on the path of public service to benefit every section of the society and provide relief from inflation. The life of common people in the state has become easier due to free smartphone with internet, gas cylinder for Rs 500, free Annapurna kit, inflation relief camp, relief from expensive treatment. 

He said that the electricity bill of more than 1 crore domestic consumers in the state has become zero. It is the responsibility of a democratic government to spend the revenue earned from the public on the public. Government policies should not be power-centric but people-centric.

During this, Priyanka Gandhi discussed with the women associated with Rajivika and took information about their self-help groups. He appreciated the products prepared by women. Earlier, Ashok Gehlot and Mrs. Priyanka Gandhi interacted with the beneficiaries of Indira Gandhi Smart Phone Scheme, inflation relief camps and Indira Rasoi. Also, he visited various stalls located at the venue. He also distributed scooters to the beneficiaries.
