The police have finally arrested the murderer of a young man who was missing since December 2 in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The young man was murdered by his own friend. After the murder, he roamed around in 6 states hiding his identity, and kept working as a driver. When the accused told the police the reason for the murder, many other secrets were revealed along with it.

The accused told Chola police- I work as a driver. The deceased Sandeep Prajapati was my friend. I like young girls a lot. I had married five times. Then I also liked Sandeep's cousin's sister. I wanted to marry her. But Sandeep was a hindrance in my love. So I first kidnapped him. Then I got two of my friends to call Sandeep's real sister and demanded a ransom of 1 lakh. Then we killed Sandeep and threw the body into the jungle of Ratapani.

The accused said- After this, I left Bhopal. Then after the murder, I went to Kolkata via Nagpur. After this, I reached Andhra Pradesh via Assam, Bihar, Maharashtra, and Karnataka and started driving under a fake name.

According to the police, the accused has already married five times and has relations with five other women in different states. But despite this, the accused had a dirty eye on a girl half his age, who was the sister of his friend. His friend came to know about his misdeeds. That is why he removed his friend from the way.

According to Chhola police, on 03 December 2024, a person named Suraj Prajapati filed an FIR. He told that his son Sandeep Prajapati was missing since 2 December. On 3 December, a young man named Avakesh called his daughter Vandana and threatened her. He said that you put one lakh rupees on my Paytm account. Only then I will release your brother Sandeep. If you do not put money on the mobile, I will kill your brother. Vandana recorded this conversation and played it to Suraj, after which he came to the police station to lodge an FIR. Suraj told that Avakesh, who called and demanded ransom, is a friend of his son Sandeep.

A reward of 30 thousand rupees was also kept

On the basis of the complaint, the police of Chhola police station started investigation against the accused Avakesh. During this, on December 7, the body of missing Sandeep Prajapati was recovered from the jungle of Delavadi valley of Thana Rehti district Sehore. Considering the seriousness of the case, a team was formed to arrest the accused and a reward of 30 thousand rupees was announced for giving clues about the accused. After about two months of investigation and struggle, the accused Avakesh was arrested from Hyderabad. The accused had started working as a truck driver in Hyderabad under a different name.

The wives of the accused were also questioned

The accused told that he used to get a driving license with a fake identity and drive everywhere. He used to get SIM cards with fake identity cards, that is why the police could not catch him in the previous crimes as well. Because after committing the crime, he used to change the state. At present, the police is also preparing to interrogate the accused's wives, so that the criminal record of the accused can be investigated.
