According to the information, this incident happened on Tuesday night around 9 pm, when Padmarajan was following his wife's car. He saw his 44-year-old wife Anila in a car with another man, which made him furious. After this, he stopped his wife's car in the Chemmamukku area of the police station area and set both of them on fire along with the car by pouring petrol on it. Police said that the woman was badly burnt in this incident and when she was taken to the hospital, the doctors declared her dead. The person travelling with the woman also got burnt and is undergoing treatment in the hospital.
