UP CM Yogi performed the ritualistic worship of Ganga here on Thursday after the successful completion of Maha Kumbh 2025. Everyone removed garbage from the river Ganga. Ganga was also worshipped and then food was also eaten sitting on the ground with the sanitation workers.

On one hand, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath worshipped Ganga here on Thursday on the successful completion of Mahakumbh 2025. On the other hand, on the conclusion of this historic Mahakumbh, CM Yogi and both Deputy CMs Brajesh Pathak and Keshav Prasad Maurya swept the Arail Ghat today.



Not only this, all of them removed garbage from the river Ganga. They also worshipped Ganga there, then sat on the ground and ate food with the sanitation workers. Along with this, today Yogi honored the sanitation and health workers. He said that – Sanitation workers associated with Prayagraj will also be given an additional bonus of 10 thousand rupees. The sanitation workers of the state used to get 8 to 11 thousand rupees per month, now it will be increased to at least 16 thousand from April. Along with this, all sanitation workers will be linked to Ayushman Yojana.


According to the official statement in this regard, the Chief Minister landed on the helipad built in Arail by helicopter and from there went to Sangam where he worshiped Maa Ganga amidst chanting of Vedic mantras. Today, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Brijesh Pathak and Minister Swatantradev Singh, Minister Nand Gopal Gupta were also present with the Chief Minister. Along with worshiping Ganga, Adityanath also performed Ganga Aarti and while returning to the ghat, he also fed Siberian birds.


PM Modi apologized

On the other hand, PM Modi wrote a beautiful blog titled 'Mahakumbh of Unity - A sound of change in the era'. He wrote that - Organizing such a huge event was not easy. I pray to Maa Ganga… Maa Yamuna… Maa Saraswati… O Maa, if there is any shortcoming in our worship, please forgive us. Also, if there is any shortcoming in the service of the devotees, then I also apologize to the public in this regard.

Let us inform you that the world's largest religious and spiritual gathering- Maha Kumbh, which was held in Prayagraj for the last 45 days, concluded on Wednesday with the last bathing festival Maha Shivratri. In this fair which started on 13th January, 66.30 crore devotees from India and abroad took a dip in the Ganga and Sangam.

According to the data released by the Mela administration, till 8 pm on Wednesday, more than 1.53 crore devotees took a dip in the Ganga and Sangam and from January 13 till 8 pm on Wednesday, the number of devotees who took a dip reached 66.30 crores. If seen, this number of devotees is more than the population of all countries including America, Russia and European countries except China and India. It is also more than the number of devotees going to Mecca and Vatican City.
