Two miscreants who arrived at the ceremony as guests stole a bag full of jewelry and cash during the wedding ceremony. The incident was revealed by CCTV footage, in which the act of the thieves is visible. The police are now searching for the thieves.
How did the theft happen?
The incident happened on Tuesday night, when the engagement ceremony of the son of Shravan Kumar Chaudhary, a resident of Kalwad Road, was taking place at Miracle Marriage Garden. During the engagement ceremony, the groom's sister kept the bag in her hand with a relative woman and went to the stage to get her photo taken. Meanwhile, two miscreants took advantage of the woman's ignorance and stole the bag kept near the chair. The bag contained jewelry worth Rs 13 lakh and Rs 8 thousand in cash.
How was the theft detected?
The theft came to light when the groom's sister came back to pick up the bag. The bag was missing and the police were informed about it. The police reached the spot and started investigating and examined the CCTV footage. It is clearly visible in the footage that both the miscreants were sitting near the woman and watching the stage program. As soon as the woman's attention shifted, one of the miscreants picked up the bag secretly and both of them fled. They went in different directions so that they could avoid each other.

Trying to identify thieves from CCTV footage
The Harmara police station is now trying to identify the thieves based on the footage. According to the police, the thieves' appearance and their clothes have been captured in the footage, due to which their identification is expected soon. The police have intensified the investigation into this theft case and have started searching for the thieves in the surrounding areas.
