Former NSUI district president Pradeep alias Tony Jat died of a heart attack a few minutes before his wedding in Sheopur, Madhya Pradesh. He had just reached the bride's doorstep on a mare. As soon as the preparations for the Toran Marna started, the young man had a heart attack and died on the spot. 

A heartbreaking video of the incident has also surfaced. In which it can be seen how the groom was sitting on the mare. Suddenly his neck hung down. Before the baraatis could understand anything, the young man died. The people present there took him down from the mare and took him to the hospital, where he died. Everyone was stunned after hearing the news of the groom's death.

The deceased groom was the nephew of senior Congress leader Yogesh Jat, who himself has been the district president of the NSUI student organization of Sheopur district. Due to this incident, the joy of the wedding turned into mourning. The bride kept waiting for the groom. The bride fainted on hearing the news of the death of the groom for whom she was waiting after applying for mehandi.
