According to Sonbhadra police, the deceased has been identified as 50-year-old Soneshwar Kharwar. This crime was committed by his son Ramashankar alias Ravi Kharwar. According to the police, Ramashankar's son was ill for a long time. He suspected that someone had done black magic on him. That is why he used to go to an exorcist for treatment. When his son did not get well despite treatment and exorcism for a long time, he asked the exorcist the reason for this.

Ojha said that the root of this problem is in his house itself. His father has done black magic on his son. After knowing this, the accused came home and started quarreling with his father. When his father tried to convince him, the accused picked up an axe and separated his father's head from the body. After committing this crime, the accused fled from the spot. Here, as soon as the information of the incident reached the neighborhood, the sensation spread.

The neighbors informed the police about the incident. On receiving the information, Additional SP Kalu Singh reached the spot with a huge crowd and got the Panchnama of the dead body done. After this, the body was sent for post-mortem. He said that the accused had fled after the incident, but the police had taken him into custody. Now the police are searching for the exorcist who instigated the accused to commit this crime.
