Police have made a big disclosure in the paper leak case of the class 10th examination in Jharkhand Education Board. Police have claimed that the paper of the exam to be held on 20th February was released in the market 13 days earlier i.e. on 7th February. This paper was also circulated to a large number of students. However, after getting the information, Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) canceled the examination to be held on 18th February and 20th February. A case was registered with the police on behalf of the council in this matter.

Jharkhand's Director General of Police Anurag Gupta disclosed the case. He said that so far 10 accused have been arrested in this case. The main accused is also included in this. He said that the papers of this examination were stolen on the way from the press to the centre. Since there were not enough arrangements for the security of the truck carrying the papers, the main accused saw the opportunity and climbed on the truck in Giridih and tore the bundles of papers with the help of a blade.

10 accused arrested so far

Koderma police had received inputs in this case. After this, the police team has arrested all the 10 accused involved in the incident by connecting the links one by one. The police has also recovered the bundle of papers stolen from the truck. On the other hand, the School Education and Literacy Department has demanded the formation of SIT from the Home Department to investigate the matter. Earlier, Jharkhand Academic Council has presented a report in the paper leak case on Saturday evening. It has been told that the science subject papers had gone viral in districts like Koderma, Garhwa and East Singhbhum.

Papers of two subjects were cancelled

Let us tell you that the matter of paper leak came to light four days ago. After this, Jharkhand Academic Council issued a press note and cancelled two matriculation papers. These include the Hindi exam held on 18 February and the Science exam held on 20 February. During the investigation of the case, the police have arrested two YouTubers from Koderma, one from Jamshedpur and one from Saraikela. Many others including a coaching operator from Garhwa district have also been arrested.
