According to the information, a medical student died due to ragging in an MBBS college in Gujarat recently. An FIR was registered against several senior students in this case. Now NMC has issued a notice to all medical colleges regarding this. In the notice, the National Medical Council has warned that if they do not implement a strict anti-ragging system in the college, strict action will be taken against them. It is being told that several senior students had harassed Anil Methani, a student of GMERS Medical College in Dharpur in the Patan district of Gujarat, and made him stand for about 3 hours.

NMC has told the colleges to form anti-ragging squads in all colleges and activate them. This will keep an eye on activities like ragging.
