A sensational case has come to light from Thane, Maharashtra. Here a woman, fed up with her disabled daughter's illness, killed her. To destroy the evidence, her body was cremated without telling anyone. The deceased girl's aunt complained to the police. The police have registered a case against the accused mother.

The incident took place in Jagtap Chawl on Shivaji Road in Thane. 17-year-old Divyang girl Yashasvi Rajesh Pawar, who lived here, died under suspicious circumstances. It is alleged that her mother killed her by giving her poisonous medicine and then secretly cremated the body to destroy the evidence. Police have registered a case in this case on charges of murder, destruction of evidence, and abetting the crime.

The whole matter came to light when the complainant Varsha Shobhik Raghunandan, who is the aunt of the deceased, lodged a complaint at the Naupada police station. She told that her sister's 17-year-old daughter named Yashasvi, who was disabled since birth, lived with her mother Snehal Pawar, father Rajesh Sampat Pawar and grandmother Surekha Mahagade, and was murdered. The body was taken to the village Satra district in a car and the body was cremated.

According to the complaint, Yashasvi was given some poisonous medicine on the night of 19 February, which led to her death. After this, at 1:30 am on 20 February, the body was put in a car number (MH-04 LQ 4009) and taken to Pasarni village in Satara district, where it was secretly cremated. In this case, the Naupada police of Thane, seeing the seriousness of the case, sent Sub Inspector Ranabhise and DB staff for investigation. During interrogation, the deceased's grandmother Surekha Mahagade admitted that Yashasvi was very ill for the last few days.

The accused mother was fed up with the illness

Fed up, mother Snehal Pawar gave him some pills at around 9.30 pm on February 19, which led to his death. To hide the body, the mother put it in a car and cremated it at Pasarni village in Satara district. A case under sections 103(1), 238, 3(5) of the Indian Penal Code for murder, destruction of evidence and abetting a crime has been registered at the Naupada police station. The police are investigating the case thoroughly and further legal action is underway.
