There was a big ruckus on Sunday-Monday night in Future Heights Society located on Kharar-Kurali Road in Mohali, Punjab. Here, while backing, a car collided with the wall of the society. The people of the society protested against this. There was an argument between the two sides regarding this matter. Meanwhile, the car driver called his friends. Here, the people of the society also gathered. The matter escalated so much that firing and stone pelting started from both sides.

On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and separated both the parties. According to the police, the car driver was backing his car. During this, his car went out of control and collided with the boundary of the society. This not only broke the grill of the society, but a palm tree planted nearby also got uprooted. When the people of the society protested against this, an argument broke out with the car driver. Soon the matter escalated to a scuffle. In such a situation, the car driver called his friends.

Firing from both sides

Seeing the situation deteriorating, the local people immediately informed the police. On this information, two policemen reached the spot. Meanwhile, both parties started pelting stones and firing at each other. Seeing the situation, they had to run away to save their lives. After this, on the information of the policemen, the police force reached the headquarters and separated the people. Eyewitnesses said that firing took place from both sides. At first, people thought that firecrackers were bursting, but seeing the situation, panic spread in the society and the surrounding area.

A case of aerial firing registered

According to the police, four empty cartridges and one live cartridge have been recovered from the spot. The police have registered a case against unknown people for firing in the air and pelting stones. In this connection, the police seized the car which was the cause of the fight. According to the police, the matter is being investigated. Sub-inspector Paramjit Singh, who is investigating the case, said that no arrest has been made in this case so far.
