Deputy Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore has raised the issue of farmers in the Assembly. During this, he accused the Ashok Gehlot government of the state of going against the promise made to the public. He has given this information through social media.

In this regard, he tweeted that the promises made by the government in its public manifesto, called its policy paper, 'to give a fair price to the farmers of the state for their crops, concrete arrangements will be made to buy their crops at the minimum support price'.

Reminding the government's promise to the public, the opposition was strongly placed before the House.

The way the Gehlot government thrashed the agriculture budget did not benefit the farmers. There is not a single farmer in the state who has said that he has benefited from the presentation of a separate agriculture budget.

In another tweet, he told that the benefits being received by the farmers from the welfare schemes like Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi and Soil Health Card, run by the country's popular Prime Minister Narendra Modi, were placed before the House.
