Telangana: Man Kills Wife for Refusing to Cook Mutton Curry

A shocking incident has come to light from Mahbubabad, Telangana, where a man brutally killed his wife over a trivial argument about food. The victim, identified as 35-year-old Maloth Kalavati, was allegedly beaten to death by her husband after she refused to cook mutton curry.
Argument Turns Fatal
According to reports, Kalavati's husband brought mutton home and asked her to prepare it. However, she was already upset over something and refused. This enraged her husband, leading to a heated argument. In a fit of rage, he physically assaulted Kalavati so severely that she succumbed to her injuries. The tragic incident took place at night when no one else was present in the house.
Investigation Underway
Upon receiving the information, the police reached the spot, collected evidence, and initiated an investigation. Kalavati’s body has been sent for post-mortem and later handed over to her family.

Kalavati’s mother expressed disbelief at the horrifying act, saying, "Fights happen between husband and wife, but how can someone be so cruel as to kill his own spouse?" The local community is also in shock, struggling to comprehend how a dispute over food could lead to such a brutal crime.
