Sultanpur robbery case: Mangesh Yadav had stolen the bike from Jaunpur, the criminals had come in two groups

In the Sultanpur robbery case of Uttar Pradesh, DGP Prashant Kumar disclosed the incident in a press conference. He said that Mangesh Yadav, who was killed in the police encounter, was directly involved in the robbery incident. It has been disclosed that the bike used in the robbery was stolen by Mangesh Yadav from Jaunpur.

Revealing the incident, ADG Law Amitabh Yash said that Vipin Singh, the main accused in the robbery at the jewelry shop in Sultanpur, had done recce of the shop twice. He said that according to the video evidence we have, Vipin had done a recce of the jewelry shop on the 13th and 15th of August. Along with Vipin Singh, Furkan and Gurjar were also involved in the incident. The bike used in this incident was stolen by Kommandir Yadav from Jaunpur.

The criminals came in two groups and carried out the robbery.

Amitabh Yash said that the criminals had reached in two groups to carry out the robbery. Apart from them, accused Pushpendra, W, and Sachin also reached there in a Bolero. These people were also directly involved in the robbery. Furkan, Anuj, Arbaaz, Mangesh Yadav, and Ankit Yadav had entered the shop for robbery. Apart from this, Vipin Singh, Vinay Shukla, Arvind, Vivek, and Durgesh surrounded the shop so that if there was any problem, these people could fire and save their comrades from the police.

He said that they could have fired at the police so that everyone could be chased away. Amitabh Yash said that all these things have come to light from CCTV footage and investigation. Not only this, these things have also been found to be true during the interrogation of the arrested criminals. He said that the police and STF together have revealed this incident.

Did recce twice, stole a bike from Jaunpur

Giving information, ADG Zone Lucknow SB Shirodkar said that the recce was done twice before the robbery. The footage of which is available with us. Vipin and Sachin were present on the spot based on the footage of the recce done on the 13th. This was found on the basis of the location in the earlier recce. There were two motorcycles in it. Which were used in the robbery incident. Both these motorcycles were stolen from Jaunpur. The footage of that has also come to light.

On the basis of which the accused was identified. Apart from this, the accused who owned the Bolero was arrested by Sultanpur police in an encounter on 2 September. 15 kg of silver and a motorcycle were recovered from his possession. He said that even when the criminals were running away, some items were recovered, which they had shared with the jewelers.

The help of STF and technical evidence was taken for disclosure.

ADG Zone Lucknow said that the help of STF and technical evidence was taken to reveal the incident. The entire sequence was mapped. The mastermind of the incident, Vipin Singh, surrendered himself in Raebareli jail. After completing the entire legal formalities, we got a remand of five days. Durgesh is an important person among those arrested after interrogating Vipin Singh. After this, the arrest was made. 1.2 kg of gold has been recovered from Vipin Singh. He said that earlier Anuj, Arbaaz, and Furkan had been involved in the robbery incident in Surat.

BJP has made UP a center of fake encounters- Akhilesh

Akhilesh Yadav once again raised questions on the Mangesh Yadav encounter in a press conference on Thursday and said that a false story is being read about the encounter. Mangesh Yadav has been murdered. Everyone knows that he was taken away from his home. He said that they are not able to understand the pain of Mangesh's mother and sister. He was encountered in slippers. If he had brains, he would not have done the encounter in slippers. Questions are being raised on all encounters.

Encounters in Noida were also fake. He said that the BJP has made UP a center of fake encounters. They are trying to scare people with encounters. Akhilesh Yadav said that not only fake encounters, this government is snatching our rights. BJP is not related to anyone. Papers have come for the places where looting has been done. We will raise this issue in both houses, we will also raise this issue in the Parliament.
