It is alleged that her stepfather started keeping an evil eye on her. During this time, she had gone to a religious place, when her stepfather came there with his friend and tried to rape her. When she raised an alarm, the accused fled from there.

The victim somehow managed to escape from the accused and reached her home. It is alleged that after reaching home she told her mother about the incident. When the daughter along with her mother reached the accused's house to protest, both of them were beaten up. The victim complained to the police.
