In Bareilly, UP, a youth from a particular community had eloped with a girl from another community 6 days ago. It is alleged that the girl's family filed a complaint with the police. But they did not take any action. Due to this, the villagers set fire to the house of the youth who had eloped with the girl. The SSP has taken major action in the case.

There was a huge riot between two communities in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. It is being said that the riot happened due to the negligence of the police. A young man named Saddam lured a girl from another community 6 days ago and eloped with her. Despite the matter being related to two communities, the police did not take the matter seriously instead of writing a report and a riot broke out. Late at night, villagers barged into the house of Saddam, a youth from a particular community, vandalized it and set it on fire.

Not only this, all the belongings kept in the house were also set on fire. People of the particular community somehow saved their lives and fled from their homes. The police vehicle which arrived on information was also vandalised. Somehow the police controlled the fire. The atmosphere in the area is still tense. A large number of police have been deployed. The incident is of Shivnagar village of Sirauli.

It is alleged that Saddam lured a girl from another community and took her away six days ago. Since the matter involved two communities, people were angry from that day itself. After the uproar, the police started looking for Saddam. The police recovered the girl. Saddam was also taken into custody.

What did the SSP say?

A report has been filed against the accused Saddam. But a report has also been filed against those who created the ruckus. The SSP has suspended Inspector Sirouli Love Sirohi, SI Satvir Singh and constable for negligence in the case. Bareilly SSP Anurag Arya said - Saddam is being questioned. Action will also be taken against those who set fire to Saddam's house. Because they have taken the law into their own hands. Saddam's family members are also being searched. Further action is underway in the case.
