RSMSSB Surveyor, Mines Supervisor Recruitment 2024: There is a lot of vacancy in Rajasthan at this time. Recently, applications have been sought for the posts of Surveyor and Mines Supervisor. The Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board (RSSB) has released the recruitment notification for the posts of Surveyor and Mines Supervisor in the Department of Mines and Geology. A total of 72 vacancies will be filled through

this recruitment drive.

There are a total of 30 vacancies for surveyor posts, including 25 for General and 5 for Scheduled Area.

There are a total of 42 vacancies for Mines Supervisor (Grade-II) posts, including 37 for General and 5 posts for Scheduled Area.

For surveyor posts, applicants should have a diploma in mining or civil engineering from a recognized polytechnic institution established by law in India. Along with this, they should be able to work in Hindi written in Devanagari and it is necessary to know about the culture of Rajasthan.

Foreman (Grade II): Diploma in Mining Engineering for these posts. Apart from this, there should be working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and knowledge about the culture of Rajasthan.

Age Limit:

The age limit of the applicants should be between 20 to 40 years as on January 1, 2026. However, the upper age limit has been relaxed for reserved category candidates.

Selection Process

: First of all, candidates will have to appear in the written examination. The exam will consist of 120 questions from General Knowledge and specific subjects. Candidates will be given 2:30 hours to write the paper. There will also be negative marking in this paper of 120 marks, under which 0.33 marks will be deducted for a wrong answer.

After this, there will be document verification under the next round, in which candidates will have to present all the necessary documents and certificates for proof of their age limit, required qualification, category.

After the DV round, the selected candidates will have to undergo a medical test to ensure that they are fit for the job.

Application Fee

: In order to apply for these posts, candidates of general category will have to pay a fee of Rs 600. Whereas, candidates of SC, ST, OBC, PWD category will have to pay an application fee of Rs 400.
