Robbery of Rs 1.35 crore in Sultanpur, 2 encounters, who was Anuj Pratap Singh who was killed in Unnao?
After the encounter with Mangesh Yadav, another accused in the Sultanpur robbery case, Anuj Pratap Singh, who was in the news on a large scale, has also been killed by the UP STF. Anuj was killed by the STF in Kuluhagarha of Achalganj police station area of Unnao at around 4 am on Monday. According to the police, Anuj Pratap Singh, originally a resident of Janapur village of Mohanganj police station area of Amethi, was a deputy in the infamous Bipin Singh gang of Jaunpur. This criminal had also committed robbery in Surat, Gujarat along with Bipin Singh. In the Sultanpur robbery case also, this criminal first entered the jewellery shop. The police have identified this criminal from the video footage. Uttar Pradesh Police had announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh for the arrest of this criminal who was absconding since the incident. According to the police, Bipin was the mastermind of this incident, although he had already surrendered.
So far 11 miscreants have been arrested.
Police arrested 8 criminals involved in the incident during the raid. One criminal was shot and caught during an encounter. Police claim that police tried to arrest Mangesh Yadav and Anuj Pratap Singh in separate encounters, but these criminals started firing at the police. Police were forced to retaliate. Both of them died in this. Out of the 14 criminals involved in this incident, 3 criminals Furkan, Arbaaz, and Ankit Yadav are still to be arrested. According to the police, a reward of Rs 1 lakh each has been announced for these three. Police have prepared the crime horoscope of these criminals. It has been found that five cases are registered against Ankit Yadav, three against Arbaaz, and two against Furkan.

According to the police, the kingpin of this gang, Bipin Singh, is also a resident of the Bhawanipur village of Mohanganj police station area of Amethi. He surrendered in the court of Raebareli immediately after the incident. His gang includes Vinay Shukla resident of Sahmeu Mohanganj, Ajay Yadav resident of Larpur police station Singramau Jaunpur, Vivek Singh resident of Bhawaninagar Mohanganj, Mangesh Yadav resident of Agaraura police station Bakhsha Jaunpur, Ankit Yadav resident of Haripura police station Aspur Devsara Pratapgarh, Arvind Yadav resident of Chamra Deeh police station Phulpur Azamgarh, Durgesh Pratap Singh resident of Naya Purwa Fire Station Raebareli.
The robbery took place on August 28
According to the police, a robbery of Rs 1.35 crore took place in broad daylight on 28 August at the establishment of Bharat Ji Soni, a resident of Chowk Thatheri Bazaar, Sultanpur. In this case, the police surrounded the area and arrested three criminals Sachin Singh, Tribhuvan, and Pushpendra Singh on the night of 2 September. The police recovered 15 kg of silver and cash worth Rs 38 thousand from these criminals. During interrogation of these criminals, the names of other criminals involved in the crime were found, and then on 5 September, Mangesh Yadav and now Anuj Pratap Singh were killed in an encounter.
