A case of filth and negligence has come to light in Jaipur's State Cancer Institute. Here a rat nibbled off the toe of a child suffering from cancer. When the family complained, no concrete measures were taken. The child suffering from cancer died during treatment on Friday morning.

A 10-year-old child suffering from blood cancer died during treatment at Jaipur's State Cancer Institute. Recently, a rat had bitten the child's toe in the hospital. When the family looked after the child cried, they found blood flowing from the foot and saw a rat there. When the family informed the nursing staff, the staff did not take the matter seriously and bandaged the child's foot. Meanwhile, State Cancer Institute Superintendent Dr Sandeep Jasuja says that the child's condition was very serious, and despite many efforts, he could not be saved.

10-year-old Ansh, admitted to the hospital, died during treatment on Friday morning. His family members had rushed him to the hospital. On Wednesday, the child was admitted to the pediatric ward after being shown to the oncology department. The family members said that when the child was in the hospital bed during treatment, he cried very loudly. When they removed the blanket covering the child, they saw a rat coming out of it. When they looked at the child's leg, it was bleeding.

Family members put tape on the roof to avoid rats

The family members of the deceased child Ansh said that there was a lot of dirt in the hospital. Rats keep roaming in the ward. They say that they had put tape on the ceiling of the ward to prevent rats. They say that a rat had bitten their son's toe. When they saw it, the toe was bleeding. They informed the nursing staff of the hospital about this. They had only bandaged their son's foot. After this entire incident, the child died on Friday morning.

There were ulcers on the body

Regarding the matter, the hospital superintendent Dr. Sandeep Jasuja says that the child was admitted to the hospital in a serious condition. He had ulcers all over his body. Regarding the rat bite, he said that the child's mother had seen a rat, but when the administration arrived, the rat was not visible. Dr Sandeep said that the child was in a very serious condition. He was bandaged due to ulcers. Even his mother is not sure whether the child was bitten by a rat. She says that the cleaning contract in the hospital has been changed. The contractor is new, it will take time for him to understand.
