A police officer informed that a joint team of Mumbai and Assam Police reached Ranveer's flat in Versova on Thursday, but no one was found there. After this, both the teams returned to Khar Police Station.

Ranveer Allahabadia was asked to appear at the Khar police station in connection with the investigation into his controversial statements. Due to his absence on Thursday, the police have issued a second summons to him to appear on Friday. Earlier, Ranveer had appealed to the Supreme Court demanding that the cases registered against him be brought together. He had requested the police to record his statement at his home, but the police refused.

A case has also been registered against Ranveer Allahabadia in Assam

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the Guwahati Police has registered an FIR for promoting obscenity and spreading objectionable content in the show "India's Got Latent". The FIR includes the names of YouTubers and social influencers Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh, Apoorva Makhija, Ranveer Allahabadia and Samay Raina, among others.

Maharashtra Cyber ​​Branch summoned 50 people

Maharashtra government minister Ashish Shelar has directed officials of the Culture Ministry to investigate the controversy. A statement issued from his office said that complaints have been received about obscenity in the show "India's Got Latent". An investigation has been ordered after a meeting in this regard. Maharashtra Cyber ​​Branch is also seriously investigating the matter. So far, at least 50 people have been called to record statements. These include participants who took part in the show.
