Rajnath Singh and Nitin Gadkari to inaugurate emergency landing field in Barmer today
Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari will give a new gift to the country by inaugurating the Emergency Landing Field on NH-925A in the Barmer sector of Rajasthan today.
For the first time in the history of the Indian Air Force, the country's first fighter emergency landing will be inaugurated on the National Highway. After this, fighter planes can be landed here in case of emergency.
According to reports, the National Highways Authority of India has constructed an ELF on the three-part of the Satta-Gandhav section of NH-925A for the Air Force for an emergency landing.
Apart from this, three villages of Barmer district of Rajasthan, Kundanpura, Singhania, and Bakhasar Air Force have also built helipads for emergency situations. The ELF in Barmer was built in just 19 months.
