Rajasthan Weather Alert: Orange alert issued for two days of heavy rain in these districts of the state


The rainy season has started once again in Rajasthan. An alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department for two days of heavy rain. During the last 24 hours, heavy rains were witnessed in many districts of the state. Under this, there was good rain in many districts of the capital Jaipur. 

The Meteorological Department has now issued an orange alert for heavy rain today and tomorrow. The department has also predicted rain for five days in some parts of Jodhpur and Bikaner divisions. The situation is bad due to heavy rains in eastern Rajasthan. Here the crops standing in the fields may get damaged.

According to the Meteorological Department, the pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal has intensified into a low pressure area. Today and tomorrow, apart from various districts of Kota and Udaipur divisions, there has been an orange alert of heavy rain in Banswara, Dungarpur, Jhalawar, Pratapgarh and Sirohi. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of heavy rain in Chittorgarh, Pratapgarh, Baran, Bhilwara, Bundi and Udaipur districts.
