Even before the dispute between Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot ends in Rajasthan, the Congress is going to get another big blow. Now former Union Minister Subhash Mahariya is preparing to give a big blow to his own party.

According to reports, Subhash Maharia has now decided to leave the Congress and join the BJP. He will join the Bharatiya Janata Party in the presence of senior leaders at the BJP headquarters today.

A large number of supporters will also be present along with State President CP Joshi, Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore, during Subhash Maharia's re-joining the BJP. Before the assembly elections to be held this year, Maharia's joining the BJP is a matter of concern for the Congress. The reason is believed.

If reports are to be believed, after this step of Maharia, many more leaders may also leave the Congress. BJP can field Mahariya from Laxmangarh assembly seat in front of Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasara.
