According to the information, Deputy Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore is at the forefront of the race for Leader of Opposition. Along with this, the name of former state president Satish Poonia is also mentioned in the race.

But since Kataria was nominated as the Governor of Assam, the post of Leader of Opposition is lying vacant.
