In Rajasthan, instead of Rs 5 lakh, an incentive amount of Rs 10 lakh will be given for inter-caste marriage. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved this proposal. He has given this information through social media.
In this regard, he tweeted that under the Dr. Savita Ben Ambedkar scheme, an incentive amount of Rs 10 lakh will now be given to inter-caste marriages. The proposal to increase the amount has been approved. Till now this amount has been getting Rs 5 lakh.
At the same time, to encourage marriages with specially-abled people in the state, under the Happy Married Life Scheme, now assistance of Rs 5 lakh will be given. Ashok Gehlot has approved the proposal to increase the amount.
He tweeted that in this, financial assistance has been increased from Rs 50 thousand to Rs 5 lakh on making a specially-abled person with 80 percent or more disability a life partner. Specially qualified people will get respect for this decision.
